Starting the transfer of archival collection to Elka can be initiated by contacting our director. Before handing the archive over to us, it is a good idea to review as carefully as possible what documents are in the archive and in connection with which activities they were created. All of this information will help organize and catalog your archive later.

Here are the practical questions about moving an archive: Where is the archive currently located? How large is it? Can the customer handle the transport to Elka himself? Does Elka pack and retrieve the archive from somewhere?

Elka charges a one-time fee for receiving archives in accordance with its price list. With the help of reception fees, we are able to speed up the work of organizing the archives and cover the costs involved. The permanent preservation of documents and the related information service is our statutory task, funded by society, at no cost to the donor.
